BJ Bazzy - Flavors & Tastes is a cookbook of Pakistani home cooking — the curries, the grills, the breads and rice, the street food and the sweets — written clearly enough that a first attempt actually works. Everything is built in, so the whole app runs offline in a kitchen with bad signal.

The recipes lean on the techniques that matter in this kitchen: blooming whole spices, building a proper base, balancing heat with sourness and knowing when to leave something alone. Portions, timings and substitutions are written out rather than assumed, so the app is as useful to someone cooking their first karahi as to someone who grew up with it. Clean layout, big readable steps and nothing between you and the food.
